Maya Henry has worked for the City of Pittsburgh, at the nonprofit Lawrenceville Corporation marketing and supporting small businesses, and at AIA Pittsburgh. Maya received an M.A. in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University in 2008 and is currently the Director of The Clemente Museum and runs women's skateboarding events at Switch & Signal Skatepark in Swissvale.
"We hope that our list brings attention to the potential of historic sites for reuse and development and encourages people of all ages to be advocates for historic preservation," says YPA board member Julie Collins.
"Affordable housing is very important in this city because things are moving fast in Pittsburgh. We get to make sure as we progress that we are not leaving people behind," says Castor Binion, executive director of Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh.
