UpPrize, the social innovation challenge by The Forbes Funds, is back after a stellar debut last year. And NEXTpittsburgh will once again host the UpPrize networking event to kick things off. About UpPrize
Beginning October 1, UpPrize will be accepting innovative solutions to challenges in our community. The social innovation competition is brought to you by The Forbes Funds with challenge partners BNY Mellon and Bridgeway Capital.
There are two challenge areas this year: 1) access to healthy food and 2) innovative technology. Each offers a total award purse of $350,000.
And this time, the geographic area has expanded to include all of Southwestern PA.
