roundabout beer
Steve and Dyana Sloan of Roundabout Brewery.

Steve and Dyana Sloan opened Roundabout Brewery in Lawrenceville in the summer of 2013 and have been churning out some of the region’s best brews ever since. Steve makes the beer while Dyana runs the tap room, which is open Wednesday through Sunday and offers beer by both the glass and the growler.

They’re also adventurous eaters who dine out at least once a week. Their last great meal?

We had brunch at Butterjoint  and it was fantastic. We’ve had it on our calendar for awhile and this was our first chance to get there. We had a difficult time choosing, but settled on Cara cara and blood orange salad and a bowl of borscht. We also ordered the pork, duck and pistachio pate because I just can’t pass up pate. The salad was refreshing, the borscht was warming and the pate was gone within two minutes. The lobster, mascarpone and chive scramble was delightful and light, and the spinach, mushroom and cheddar quiche was another great choice. I drank the East End Brett Hop and Steve had their Black IPA, which was roasty and delicious. We enjoyed the hushed atmosphere and very prompt, friendly service. We’ll definitely be back soon.
