Alan CummingFirst, on Friday, October 14 at 1 p.m. Cumming will appear as part of Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures’ “New & Noted” series. The #1 New York Times best-selling author will discuss his newest book, You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams which documents “wildly entertaining real-life stories of louche late-night parties, backstage anecdotes, life in LA and New York, Travels With Charley-like cross-country road trips with his beloved dog, Honey, and poignant memories of his life, loves, family, fellow actors, and friends.”

For more of your Cumming fix, don’t miss the Scottish-American celeb on Friday night when he brings his hit cabaret show from NYC’s hip Café Carlyle to Pittsburgh’s own Byham Theater.

Dubbed Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, the show has been immortalized with a new album of the same name. After taking the popular act on the road throughout the US, Canada and Australia, Cumming returned to NYC in February 2016 to make his sold-out, solo debut at Carnegie Hall.
