For Bricolage Production Company, less is more. As in the less you know about their newest theatrical offering, the better. That means no seats, no stages, no expectations.

The latest creation to flow from the minds behind Bricolage’s nationally-recognized, sold-out shows, STRATA and OjO, The Ascendants is sure to stir your memory, alter your perception, and awaken your senses.

Part of the local company’s innovative “Immersive Encounters” series, the pop-up show is designed to be “radically unique” and is kept shrouded in mystery. Bricolage created the “mini-encounter” to serve as a creative laboratory for both theater producers and the public to explore specific concepts and artistic aesthetics.

Co-creators and co-directors Jeffrey Carpenter, Tami Dixon and Sam Turich worked with writer Gab Cody and performers Michael Brewer and Andrea Kozai on the production.

Recommended for ages 16+, The Ascendants takes place “somewhere” in Downtown’s Cultural District. You’ll receive the exact location and specific instructions via email after purchasing tickets.

This word-of-mouth show is likely to sell out, so buy tickets now.
