The award-winning comedian and television personality Craig Ferguson takes a break from CBS’ The Late Late Show to hit the road on tour, making a stop in town on Thursday, November 21st.
A hit on the North American comedy circuit, Ferguson regularly performs throughout the US and Canada and has sold out high profile venues such as Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. In our area, this is your chance to experience the comedian’s signature humor at the more intimate Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1962, Ferguson’s career in the entertainment industry includes drumming in UK punk bands, starring as Nigel Wick on The Drew Carey Show, hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and receiving a Grammy for Best Comedy Album.
The prolific stand-up comedian is perhaps best known as host of CBS’ The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, enjoyed by fans and night owls alike on weekdays at 12:37 a.m. With Ferguson at the helm, the show has achieved its highest ratings since its inception in 1995, and has garnered a Peabody Award and an Emmy nomination. In April of 2014, Ferguson announced that he will leave the show on December 19th, featuring veteran comedian Jay Leno as his final guest.
Ferguson, who became an American citizen in 2008, has also written, starred in and directed feature films, penned a novel and a memoir, and served as host of the syndicated Celebrity Name Game.
