East End Brewing Company
May 13
12—5 p.m.
Good beer and doing good will be on tap Saturday when East End Brewing Company releases its latest batch of Illustration Ale.
Kicking off a new season of themed “Crafts and Drafts” events, the Larimer-based brewery will showcase the handmade process inherent in making quality beer and art.
Back after a hiatus, the limited-edition run of Illustration—a Belgian-style dark ale—will feature labels designed by local artists Wayno (Wayne Illustration), Mark Bogacki (CommonWealth Press), Mike Budai, Kim Fox (Worker Bird), Mark Brewer, and Matt Buchholz (Alternate Histories).
Sample the new ale, enjoy live music by The Employees of Funk and swing by the Iron City Eats Food Truck for grub.
At the event’s family-friendly artist market, attendees can shop for homemade wares of all kinds—including prints by strawberryluna, beauty products by Lovett Sundries, t-shirts by 2-4-6-8 Kids, upcycled journals by Too Many Sparkles and much more.
Maggie’s Farm Rum will be on hand debuting a new spirit made from Commonplace Coffee—while Piebird will be selling baked goods and desserts.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit HEARTH, which provides housing to homeless families in the region.
