Renaissance Hotel Pittsburgh

Renaissance Hotel
May 17
6—9 p.m.

Where can you enjoy a spring staycation, help raise funds for Pittsburgh’s vital cultural scene, and dance the night away inside a storied Italian Renaissance landmark?

Your Wednesday night will get a lot brighter when the Renaissance Hotel swings open its doors to host “Discglow Under the Dome.”

Part of the hotel brand’s sixth annual Global Day of Discovery, the Pittsburgh edition invites revelers to party under the ornate rotunda inside the Renaissance’s spectacular lobby.

Opened in 1906 as The Fulton Building, the National Register of Historic Places landmark was designed by renowned architect Grosvenor Atterbury and funded by industrial Henry Phipps.

If you have yet to experience the wireless headphone phenomenon dubbed “Silent Disco”—which is a hit in clubs across Korea, Brazil and Japan—you don’t want to miss this chance to get your dance on inside a chic Downtown locale.

Don a set of headphones, select a channel, and sway, spin and groove to your fave beats and tunes curated by DJ Underdog.

The event will also feature food stations, glow accessories and signature cocktails. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
