Looking for a place to prance around in your favorite ugly sweater (think: bedazzled trees, 3D reindeer and very loud patterns)? There’s no shortage of opportunities this holiday season.

Kick off your festivities December 16 at the inaugural Bloomfield Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl. Pittsburgh’s Little Italy will transform into a winter wonderland along Liberty Ave., where bars and restaurants will offer specials and donations will be collected for homeless shelters. Forget Santa, this crawl’s got the Pittsburgh Dad, who will greet fans at Alexander’s Italian Bistro.

Continue your merrymaking nearby at the second annual Lawrenceville Ugly Sweater Crawl, where the “worst dressed” can win a Sam Adams smoking jacket. Enjoy discounted Sam Adams Winter Lager, White Christmas and Jolly Traveler at locations like Industry Public House, Bierport and Belvedere’s.

Keep those sweaters handy for a 21+ party at Carnegie Science Center December 22. Participate in drone races and laser karaoke, make a stormtrooper snowflake and design a present-topper using recycled Omnimax film. Nosh on Ugly Sweater Slushies and goodies from the hot chocolate bar. Buy tickets.

Wrap up December 23 at the South Side’s annual 12 Bars of Christmas Annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl. Toast your way along East Carson — from The Library to Carmella’s— as you enjoy specials and raise funds for Toys for Tots.
