The Biergarten at Hotel Monaco
August 27
2 – 5 p.m.

The island vibes will flow high above the city’s skyline when one of Downtown Pittsburgh’s most scenic rooftop perches hosts its second annual Endless Summer Luau.

This festive affair has every ingredient you need to stave off those Sunday blues. Step into the open-air venue where you’ll be welcomed by Lei Greeters, serenaded by Hawaiian musicians and handed an island cocktail.

The authentic Polynesian Luau will showcase the rich customs and traditions of the Pacific islands via food, drink, music and dance. You’ll have the chance to learn the arts of coconut husking and tattooing during demonstrations, and Hawaiian group, Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic, will heat up the rooftop with a culminating show featuring their dazzling Fire Knife Dance.

A menu created by executive chef Wyatt Lash of The Commoner will spotlight traditional Polynesian fare such as fresh Poke, Lomi-lomi salmon and Kalua pork and cabbage.

Proceeds from the all-ages event will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh.
