6 – 9 p.m.
Cutting-edge contemporary art and fresh craft beer are on tap for the third annual Imbibe Northside event this Saturday.
Filling up a commemorative Imbibe Northside glass, beer lovers can taste the latest offerings from a wide range of neighborhood establishments, such as Allegheny City Brewing, Penn Brewery, Southern Tier, Spring Hill Brewing and more. Joining the brewers will be distillers including Wigle Whiskey, Threadbare Cider and Mead and the Pittsburgh Winery.
Providing a high-energy mix of bluegrass standards and original tunes will be Northside musicians, the Shelf Life String Band, who combine everything from banjo and sax, to mandolin and fiddle.
The museum will keep its doors open late for attendees, who will have exclusive access to all of the galleries, including the New Installations: 40th Year exhibition and new works by Pittsburgh-based artists Vanessa German and David Pohl.
The Burgh Bites Cart and Bado’s Pizza Grill & Ale House food truck will be on-site selling local dinner fare.
