The Frick Pittsburgh
Fridays through September 8
5–9 p.m.
Summer mode has kicked in and one of the best places to experience the city’s lush outdoor environs at magic hour is at The Frick Pittsburgh. The Point Breeze destination just launched its latest Summer Fridays season, which means you have 11 fantastic ways to wind down your week and ramp up your weekend from now until Labor Day.
The dynamic series features free live entertainment and family-friendly activities, creative dining options, access to exhibitions and amenities, and more.
This Friday you can travel back in time to one of history’s most influential musical eras with The British Invasion Experience. Reimagining the high-energy, melody-laden music of its heyday, the group will pay tribute to iconic bands from the Fab Four and Pink Floyd, to The Kinks and Led Zeppelin.
Take a free tour of Clayton, shop at the Frick Museum Store and grab fare from the BRGR, PGH PoBoy and Stickler’s Ice Pop food trucks. Unwind and mingle at the new Café Wine Bar, picnic on the idyllic grounds or dine at The Café at the Frick.
While there, don’t miss the chance to see the brand new exhibition, Irving Penn: Beyond Beauty (admission fees apply).
