There are countless ways to get into the holiday spirit — and give the gift of locally-made, hand-crafted spirits — thanks to Wigle and Threadbare.

Start your merrymaking at the free “Hoppy Hanukkah: Cider & Latkes” event December 7 at the new Threadbare Cider House. Sample Hopped Cider, pair it with delicious latkes and enjoy special Hanukkah offerings from 5 to 10 p.m.

This weekend at the Wigle Whiskey Garden and Barrelhouse, shop for the perfect tree and sip hot toddies, cocoa and cider during the Christmas Spectacular. Sample St. Nick Whiskey, a seasonal release boasting roasted malt flavors and subtle hops produced in collaboration with Penn Brewery.

On December 16, the Wigle crew will usher in a new holiday tradition with its free Winter Wassail Market at Threadbare. Step into a massive tent decked out with 12 glowing Christmas trees, warm up with mulled cider cocktails, and purchase last-minute gifts from local artists. Make a wassail crown and enjoy live music by the Delta Struts, Adam Fitz, Kevin Ward and George Fischer.

On December 22, head to Wigle’s Strip District distillery for a Chrismukkah bash complete with dreidel competitions, ornament decorating and the highly anticipated release of Wigle Cocktail Mixer No.1 — a vermouth-like concoction that will be showcased in the “Wigle Mon-hattan.”
