It may seem antithetical, but sometimes there’s nothing quite as refreshing as a crisp cold beer on a frigid winter night. On Wednesday, January 27th, Full Pint Brewing is calling all beer aficionados to a winter warmer of Warholian proportions, when it unveils one of the first local beers of 2016.

Be among the first in Pittsburgh to taste HOPism—and party in Pittsburgh’s newest boutique hotel—when the North Versailles-based brewery celebrates its latest limited release seasonal brew at the stylish Ace.

Brew buffs will learn all about the tasty new batch of HOPism—which is inspired by the King of Pop, Andy Warhol—and will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Pittsburgh’s thriving craft beer movement while mixing and mingling with local brewers. An extremely limited imperial IPA, Full Pint’s HOPism is an uber hoppy (read: 100+ IBU), 11% ABV golden colored ale. Brewer owned and operated since 2009, Full Pint produces a variety of seasonal, high gravity and draught-only limited releases with six year-round offerings.

Providing the night’s live musical soundtrack will be The Velvet Underground-influenced band, Venus in Furs, along with DJ Stovallian. Full Pint’s own in-house artist Phillip Seth will be on-site screen-printing HOPism posters all evening, and attendees can vie for the chance to win one of the handmade, limited edition mementos.

A cash bar will feature Full Pint craft beer along with local spirits. Tickets are $40 and include a complimentary pint of HOPism, heavy appetizers and a take-home four-pack of HOPism. Space is limited. Purchase tickets.
