The Waterfront
November 24, 25, 26
Various times
Visitors making the trek to The Waterfront in Homestead this Thanksgiving weekend will have a lot more than big-box chain stores and mass-produced goods waiting for them on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
Setting up shop inside the former Office Depot space next to Michael’s, the nomadic I Made It! Market will showcase 100 local artisans selling handmade, locally-produced wares. The holiday market will be open November 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Peruse locally-made products such as ceramics, jewelry, artwork and clothing, and swing by a selection of food and drink purveyors like Zeke’s Coffee and Pittsburgh Fudge. Featured vendors include everyone from Joe Ireland Photography, Dragonfly Lake Scents and The Foxglove Hollow, to Wit & Purl, Homestead Luminary and The Circle Craft.
New this year is a Kids Day on November 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring 50 artists, the event will feature a shop stocked with small items that children can buy, hands-on activities, gift wrapping and childcare.

For last-minute holiday gifts, I Made It! will pop into The Block Northway on December 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 60 local artisans.
