One of the iconic program’s recent legacies is the Emmy-nominated, animated children’s television show about Daniel Tiger that debuted on PBS in 2012. Produced by Pennsylvania’s own Fred Rogers Company, the award-winning series has gone on to spawn books and apps and is now one of television’s highest-streamed shows. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood even helped to launch a first-of-its-kind exhibition at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh which is heading out on a national tour that’s already booked through 2020.

Now, families across the region can relive all of the magic of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood when the beloved show is brought to life in new ways during an exciting live theatrical production.

Hop aboard the bright red trolley to join Daniel, Katerina Kittycat, Miss Elaina, O the Owl, Prince Wednesday and the entire crew of friends as they hit the big stage at Downtown’s Byham Theater and explore the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Produced by Mills Entertainment and The Brad Simon Organization Inc., Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live! invites audiences of all ages to take an interactive musical adventure packed with imagination, creativity and music.

Using musical and educational strategies developed by Fred Rogers, the production showcases engaging stories about the life of a youngster who learns crucial social skills necessary for school and life. Sporting his iconic red sweater, Daniel and his neighbors will share heartfelt stories about friendship, compassion, kindness, caring and more.
