April 19 & all Sunday home games
Various times

In Pittsburgh, April is synonymous with opening day for the Pittsburgh Pirates at picturesque PNC Park. One fantastic way to experience the great American pastime of baseball, enjoy Sundays together as a family and take in the dramatic views of downtown is at the Pirates’ special Kids Days.

Every Sunday home game is a designated Kids Day, so grab the entire family and head down to the North Shore to participate in some spring recreational activities and cheer on the hometown team. Kids Day kicks of its 2015 season on Sunday, April 19th, when the Pirates take on the Milwaukee Brewers.

Join in on all of the fun and games at the #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone, which will set up shop right near the stadium along Federal Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (the area is closed to traffic during the event). Get active inside the zone’s giant inflatables and Pirate bounce house and enjoy live music and entertainment.

Kids ages 14 and younger will receive a special Pirates gift item at the gates (with a purchased a ticket), including a new pair of black and gold Andrew McCutchen socks on Sunday, April 19th.

Make sure to stick around after the game for the grand finale—when all kids are invited to “Run The Bases” right down on legendary PNC field. The Pirates’ 2015 season runs from April 13th through October 4th. Go here to view a schedule of 2015 Kids Days at PNC Park.
