Gemini Children’s Theater

Step away from the seasonal stress to enjoy a magical winter wonderland adventure on stage. Gather the entire family and kick off the festive season with Gemini Children’s Theater‘s special, interactive holiday show, The Gift of the Ice Queen.

Gemini’s newest original musical, The Gift of the Ice Queen runs at the Point Breeze-based theater through December 28th. Performances take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Located within The Factory building at 7501 Penn Ave., Gemini has produced 30-plus interactive children’s shows over the past 15 years. Founded in 1996 by Lani Cataldi and Dennis Palko, Gemini’s 6,385-square-foot facility houses a 100-seat black box theater, two rehearsal studios, offices, a box office, and backstage, concession and lobby areas.

Please note: the theater’s first row of bench seating is reserved for children age 8 and under. Children age 2 and under are free, but must sit on an adult’s lap. All children must be accompanied by an adult inside the theater.

Jennifer has worked at the Mattress Factory, Brooklyn Museum of Art and Dahesh Museum of Art and is co-author of Pittsburgh Signs Project: 250 Signs of Western Pennsylvania. She also is co-coordinator of Handmade Arcade. Musically, she is in a band called The Garment District and is a founding member of Brooklyn's The Ladybug Transistor.
