Gemini Children's Theater

Ryan Arts and Culture Center
January 20 — February 4
Saturdays & Sundays: 1 & 3:30 p.m.

Travel down the yellow brick road to join Dorothy — and the cast of imaginative creatures she meets along the way — as she journeys to the land of Oz and tries to find her way back home.

An original adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved and timeless novel, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” that was first published in 1900, the lively show features interactive participatory elements for all ages.

With a kiss on her cheek — and silver slippers on her feet — from Glinda the Good Witch, Dorothy sets off on an epic trek to the City of Emeralds. Join Dorothy as she meets protective friends and battles the Wicked Witch of the West, who uses her wily ways to try and prevent the young girl from finding the Wizard.

If you have yet to check out Gemini Children’s Theater’s new digs, this is a terrific chance to visit them at the Ryan Arts and Culture Center in McKees Rocks.

Directed by June Beighley, the production features Savannah Bruno, Carina Iannarelli, Darrin Mosley, Bogdan Haiko, Robert Colbert, Emily Palma, Cory Sigler, and Cole Vecchio.
