Kennywood

Kennywood Park
Saturdays and Sundays, October 7 – 29
Noon – 4 p.m.

Summer may be over but the rides are still rolling at Kennywood.

Pittsburgh’s latest destination for fall fun, the beloved amusement park is unveiling a new event series for kids dubbed Happy Hauntings.

At the one-of-a-kind setting — one of only two amusement parks designated a National Historic Landmark — pumpkins will replace flowers, cornstalks will sprout up and the sweet smell of fall will fill the air.

Meet special guest Butch Patrick — aka Eddie Munster — who will help celebrate opening day with his Munster Koach and Dragula car. The youngest riders will love Kiddieland, where they can jump on favorites like the Merry-Go-Round, Auto Race, Skeleton Station and Paratrooper.

Hop aboard the Hootin’ Holler Hayride to enjoy a tranquil tour, be dazzled by the Doc Dixon Magic Show and go trick-or-treating through Kennyville Cemetery. If you dare, wander into the Mystery Maze to weave your way along a path populated by friendly monsters.

Come dressed in costume and kickstart your Halloween celebrations by decorating a pumpkin to take home. Burn off energy after eating too much candy by competing in Kenny’s Spooky Sock Hop and joining a dance party on the garden stage!
