The Frick Pittsburgh

The Frick Pittsburgh
September 9
10 a.m. — 4 p.m.

Take a break from the chaotic back-to-school rush and enjoy a day packed with free family programs at The Frick Pittsburgh.

At Saturday’s Let’s Move Family Fun Day at the Frick brought to you by UPMC Health Plan, kids of all ages are invited to take part in all sorts of fun imaginative, recreational and artistic activities.

Unplug those digital devices, step into action and get moving throughout 5.5 acres of scenic green lawns and historic sites. Make your way through a wacky obstacle course, stroll the trails while playing outdoor adventure bingo and peruse masterpieces in The Frick Art Museum.

Get balanced during energizing yoga sessions as you rediscover the simple joy of having fun together outside. Head to the Grable Visitor Center to strike a pose in the photo booth, and take a tour of the Frick family’s historic Clayton mansion to discover what life was like in Pittsburgh during the Gilded Age more than 100 years ago.

The youngest automobile buffs will love the Car and Carriage Museum. Shop for Pittsburgh-themed gifts in the Frick Museum Store, and grab lunch at The Café at the Frick.
