November 3, 4 & 5

There are expos for garden lovers, brides to be, foodies, car collectors and on and on. But did you know that the largest pet expo on East Coast is taking place in the Burgh this weekend?

Gather the entire clan – especially those four-legged, feathered friends or even your ferret on a leash – and head to the Pittsburgh Pet Expo for two acres of pet-centric fun.

Whether you have a beloved pet (or four!), are looking to add to your pack, or are up for a fun outing with Fido, this is the event for your brood.

The animal kingdom rules at this three-day extravaganza packed with competitions, celebrity meet-and-greets, demonstrations, shows, adoptions, giveaways, entertainment, samples, “Ask the Vet” seminars and exhibit booths.

Be dazzled by the skills of the North America Diving Dogs (and prepare to get splashed!), see pooches getting primped during the “Rescue Me Rodeo Roundup” grooming competition, and watch live demonstrations led by Steel City Reptile Expo.

Cheer on as 50 feline breeds compete in the “World of Cats” show, view and touch wondrous sea creatures at the “Stingray Encounter,” register your pet for the grand finale costume contest and more.
