Pillow fights are not just for sleepovers anymore. The fluffy stuff will fly when the 11th annual Giant Pillow Fight unleashes the free, family-friendly fun this Sunday.
Kids and kids at heart are invited to BYOP (Bring Your Own Pillow) and join in the smackdown. Relive your favorite childhood pastime—and pass along the cherished bedtime tradition with your own kids—as you arm yourself with your puffy arsenal in the heart of Oakland’s urban green space.
Ready to rumble? Head to the Schenley Plaza lawn with your pillow in hand at 8 p.m. Listen for the “mystery signal” marking the official start of the battle at 8:20 p.m. sharp.
After the antics, relax with a free outdoor screening under the stars of the film, Nine Lives, starting at 9 p.m. Rated PG, the film stars Kevin Spacey as a workaholic business tycoon in NYC whose mind becomes trapped inside his daughter’s new cat, Mr. Fuzzypants.
If you’re looking for a great place to have dinner, head next door to The Porch at Schenley.
Presented by the quirky Pittsburgh Cacophony Society, the rain or shine event is open to all ages.
