It’s time to mark your cultural calendar for the 12th edition of the Lawrenceville Artists’ Studio Tour—setting up shop throughout the community on November 19.

Ron Copeland.

Free and open to the public, this year’s self-guided tour will showcase 50 prolific makers and 18 unique studios located between 35th and 57th Streets.

From 57th Street Studios and Radiant Hall, to Tugboat Printshop and the Ice House, featured artists represent a wide diversity of media—including furniture, painting, glass, clothing, design, installation, and mixed media.

Amy Garbark of garbella.

Along the route, attendees will explore Pittsburgh’s 6th, 9th and 10th wards to pop into intimate private studios nestled in narrow side streets, commercial properties that have been converted into creative hubs, distinctive art shops and studios along the Butler Street corridor.

Visitors of all ages are invited to watch artist demonstrations, buy art, get a behind-the-scenes look at works-in-progress, and enjoy all the amenities of Lawrenceville.

Throwing open its many studio doors to the public, the day of art and engagement will also shine a spotlight on the creative industries, endeavors and entrepreneurs helping to revitalize the neighborhood.

You’ve got one fabulous day to see it all so check out the event map here and start planning your day.
