Imbibe North Side

Mattress Factory
July 8
7—10 p.m.

Pittsburgh’s historic North Side boasts its own music festival, sandwich week, numerous neighborhood house tours and more. Now a showcase of local libations, music and mobile cuisine is teaming up with world-class art to become a new hometown favorite.

For its third installment, Imbibe North Side is gathering top Pittsburgh-based brewers, wineries and distillers at the Mattress Factory museum. Pick up your commemorative pint glass featuring an iconic blue Pittsburgh street sign and sample libations from War Streets Brewery, Grist House, Southern Tier, Arsenal Cider, Wigle Whiskey, Engine House 25 and many others.

Spanning the museum’s indoor and outdoor spaces, Imbibe will feature live music by The Joel Pace Trio plus special guests, along with a VIP session at 6 p.m. Swing by the food truck roundup to buy dinner from Pittsburgh Po’Boy, Las Chicas and Jim’s Smokin’ Que BBQ.

Imbibers will also have access to the Mattress Factory’s galleries after hours. Current exhibitions include so it is, featuring seven artists from Northern Ireland, as well as Factory Installed, which showcases room-sized installations by Stephen Bram, Ezra Masch, Christopher Meerdo and Mohammed Musallam.

Buy tickets now, because the event will likely sell out.
