Quick: What do the names John Belushi, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Joan Rivers, Bill Murray and Keegan-Michael Key have in common?This star-studded roster of renowned comedians all got their start with the groundbreaking Chicago improv troupe, The Second City.

Comedy fans will LOL nonstop over the weekend when Pittsburgh Public Theater hosts The Second City’s latest show, Summer Blockbuster.

The group’s next generation of comedy’s brightest rising stars is currently hitting the road on tour and this weekend they’ll roll into Downtown’s O’Reilly Theater for three shows only.

Featuring comedians Eve Krueger, Danny Catlow, Greg Ott, Adam Archer, Lauren Walker and Alison Gates, Summer Blockbuster showcases The Second City’s inimitable mashup of “hilarious sketch comedy, zany songs, expert timing and rapid-fire riffing.”

Don’t miss this chance to catch one of the world’s most influential and prolific comedy groups. Showtimes are Friday, August 25 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 26 at 5:30 and 9 p.m. The lobby bars at the O’Reilly will open one hour before each show and beverages are permitted in the theater.
