Rhythm and Brews

Tall Trees Amphitheater
August 26
11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

The tasty brews and great tunes will flow this Saturday at the scenic Tall Trees Amphitheater in Monroeville.

For its third annual celebration of local food, music and libations, the Rhythm and Brews Festival is back with an expanded lineup featuring 10 hours of programming.

Produced by Rivertowne Brewing and the grassroots art collective, Redfishbowl, the family-friendly festival features live music by more than nine Pittsburgh-based bands, including Beauty Slap, Grand Piano, Andre Costello and the Cool Minors and Tres Lads.

Head to the craft beer garden for libations from 12-plus regional breweries — such as Rivertowne, Full Pint, Mindful and Belltown — and grab fare from the Pgh Crepes, Dad’s Pub & Grub and Philly Pretzel food trucks.

Play rounds of giant beer pong and cornhole, get your body painted — or help paint a community mural — and watch glass blowing demos.

The festival will also feature an artist market, performances by Camille Zamboni and Aerial Silks Pittsburgh and a silent auction. Event proceeds will benefit six area charities.
