A collaboration between the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Office of the Mayor of Pittsburgh and NEXTpittsburgh, N3D—which launched in October 2015 in Troy Hill—showcases under-the-radar Pittsburgh neighborhoods that are often overlooked. Through its new program series, N3D also promotes affordable housing, highlights local culture, businesses and amenities, and attracts new residents and consumers to city neighborhoods.

Back and even bigger, N3D kicks off on Friday, June 17 at Industry on Industry from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Located along Manton Way in Allentown, the mixed-use development is part of the Hilltop Alliance’s Business District Revitalization Program which is offering a 50% rent abatement for one year to new businesses that open along the East Warrington commercial district.

Emceed by local chanteuse Phat Man Dee, Friday night will feature live music from a variety of Pittsburgh musical luminaries, including Beauty Slap, Kanti Kasa, Gone South, Lyn Woods & Joe the Mailman, R.A.D. and DJ Climax.

The evening will include local cuisine, brews and cocktails from neighborhood eateries, including Kavsar—Pittsburgh’s only Uzbek restaurant—along with Sweet Peaches, Alla Famiglia, Black Forge Coffee House, and Leon’s Caribbean Restaurant.

Check back soon for details about official N3D Hilltop after-party events, such as late-night comedy shows at Drip Lounge, and extended hours and snacks at Breakfast at Shelly’s.
