East End Brewing
June 19
6:30—9 p.m.

Yoga is all about harmony, so balance out those brews with some yoga at East End Brewing Company in Larimer on Monday night.

The 21+ over affair features an hour-long session lead by The Beer Yogis, Melissa Klimo-Major and Mikki Trowbridge. The duo hosts pop-up yoga events at craft breweries from coast-to-coast, and Pittsburgh is the last stop on their current East Coast tour.

The Yogis have nearly 1,000 hours of instruction time between them. Klimo-Major has hosted yoga retreats in Costa Rica and runs a craft beer yoga group called Balance & Brews. Trowbridge, a RYT 500 certified instructor, teaches weekly Yoga + Beer classes in her hometown of Salem, Oregon.

The Yogis bring group vinyasa yoga practices into unconventional settings. Together, they thrive on finding unity and community through yoga and craft beer. Expect a low-pressure environment perfect for first-timers and experts alike.

Beer drinking is optional but the cost of your first pint is included with the cost of admission. We recommend trying the judiciously hopped Green Giant IPA or the East End/Pizza Boy collaboration Moonstomp, a refreshing sour Berliner Weisse that checks in at only 3% abv.
