Rock out for a great cause, enjoy music by Pittsburgh-based female artists and celebrate Women’s Health Month.

The second annual Women Who Rock Benefit Concert is shining a spotlight on local, female-fronted musical talent while also supporting groundbreaking research at Magee-Womens Research Institute.

You’ll want to be a VIP, because this benefit bash includes an exclusive meet-and-greet with the legendary American drummer, percussionist and singer Sheila E, who has performed with everyone from Prince to Marvin Gaye to Diana Ross.

Emceed by WDVE’s Michele Michaels, the event will showcase live performances by Lyndsey Smith, Molly Alphabet and Karya String Duo. Also performing will be Allissa Logsdon, winner of the Women Who Rock + Point Park University Pioneer Records artist contest.

Attendees will enjoy perks from local spas, salons and boutiques in the Women Who Rock Beauty Bar. The event will also include a presentation of the 2018 Women Who Rock Award to WTAE’s Kelly Frey.
