The Children's Home

Stage AE
March 25
6—11 p.m.

Get ready to shake your booty for a fantastic cause along the North Shore this Saturday.

The Children's Home

The magic of Mardi Gras will come to the Burgh for one very special night when The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center hosts its 16th annual signature gala. So dust off that feathered boa, don some shiny beads and festive threads, and head to Stage AE to jazz it up with some of the coolest cats in town.

Revelers will gather to help raise funds to support the infants, children and families served by The Children’s Home’s three vital programs: adoption, a pediatric extended care center serving medically fragile infants and children called Child’s Way, and the 30-bed Pediatric Specialty Hospital that provides short-term transitional care for children who are technology dependent and who may suffer from life-threatening illnesses.

Get into that New Orleans state of of mind and let the good times roll Down Bourbon Street as you enjoy live music by John Gresh’s Gris-Gris band, visit with a fortune teller, and pop into the photo booth to strike a NOLA pose.

Emceed by comedian and performer Gab Bonesso, the Shake Your Booties . . . Down Bourbon Street benefit bash will also feature gourmet food stations, desserts by Bella Christie, and open bar, and dancing.

Party-goers will also vie for 83 spectacular pieces, trips, at experiences in the event’s live and silent auctions. Featured items include a David Yurman necklace and bracelet set valued at $4,500 from Louis Anthony Jewelers, dinner with Rick Sebak at Block 292, a weekend getaway at Pennsylvania’s one-of-a-kind luxury nature resort, The Lodge at Glendorn, and exclusive tickets to see the U2 Joshua Tree 2017 Tour at Heinz Field.

The event also offers an exclusive VIP ticket option, as well as late-night admission for young professionals starting at 9 p.m. NEXTpittsburgh is proud to be a media sponsor of the event.
