The Waterfront

Homestead Grays Bridge at The Waterfront
August 26
5—9 p.m.

Pittsburgh’s iconic bridges are not just for crossing by car anymore. The newest arrival on Pittsburgh’s outdoor concert scene is bringing the summer festival vibes to the Homestead Grays Bridge at The Waterfront.

Head down under the historic bridge—which was built in 1936 and spans the Monongahela River—for free programming for all ages.

Vibes Under the Bridge will feature live music by Bon Journey and Say Ahh, hands-on activities led by Pop Craft, a summer cookout and beer garden hosted by Rock Bottom Brewery and sweet treats from Rocket Fizz.

For the kiddos, there will be face painting, balloon art, games and more.

Helping to create the ambiance will be multi-colored lights lining the bridge’s steel beams, summertime decor, live art and a giant custom-designed selfie wall created by artist Jeremy Raymer.

Mark your summer calendar now for the next installment of Vibes Under the Bridge on August 26. Held in conjunction with The Waterfront’s back-to-school “Arrival Survival” program, the event will feature live music by Beauty Slap, goodies from Cakery Square, shopping giveaways, a blogger makeover contest, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
