Kingfly Spirits welcomes Santa and Mrs. Claus on Small Business Saturday and leaves a little room in one of their lovely stables for visiting reindeer and a lot of holiday magic.
Kingfly has big plans for Small Business Saturday and invites everyone to come down to the distillery on November 30 to enjoy all the best spirits of holiday celebration.
Now, about those reindeer…
FACT: Since Kingfly Spirits opened in February, the craft distillery on Smallman Street in the Strip has attracted thousands of guests, many tours, parties and adoring fans from Pittsburgh and worldwide.
Their award-winning artisanal spirits range from vodka, white rum, spiced rum and whiskey, to specialty liqueurs such as limoncello.
The building, originally a horse barn built in 1907, was lovingly restored by Kingfly’s owners in partnership with Margittai Architects and MM Marra Construction. This charming urban barn that houses the distillery, cocktail bar, coffee shop and stunning event space recently won the 2019 Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Award.
FICTION: Although it’s quite possible that reindeer would love it here just as much as the original equine residents, there is no historical proof that the barn was built for Santa’s team of eight.
However, Santa will have the opportunity to tell his side of the story to adoring fans young and old from 2-5 pm on the 30th.
