Pittsburgh is now part of Flavortown.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri and internationally known restaurateur Robert Earl have introduced Flavortown Kitchen, a “ghost kitchen” with a delivery-only business model, to five spots throughout the area.

The Flavortown spots are located in Robinson Township, North Fayette Township, Mt. Lebanon, West Homestead and Station Square. Each site uses prep space at a Buca di Beppo or Bravo! Italian Kitchen restaurant.

Food can be ordered through the Flavortown app, which is available for download from the Apple Store or Google Play, and through most third-party delivery apps including Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, Uber Eats and Seamless.

The menu features Fieri’s favorite items from his various restaurants — including his recently debuted Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen + Bar at Live! Casino Pittsburgh in Westmoreland County — such as appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads and entrees.

One popular item is the Bacon Mac N’ Cheese Burger, voted the best burger in Las Vegas by SEVEN Magazine and winner of New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash. The beef patty is topped with melted cheese, macaroni and cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, crispy onions, Guy’s signature Donkey Sauce (a mix of garlic, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper) and served on a garlic-buttered brioche bun.

Flavortown Kitchen is a creation of Virtual Dining Concepts, which has launched numerous online eateries during the pandemic, including Mariah’s Cookies by Mariah Carey and TYGA BITES by hip-hop artist Tyga. Other star-powered, delivery-only restaurant chains on the horizon include Mario’s Tortas Lopez by actor Mario Lopez and Pauly D’s Italian Subs by DJ Pauly D.

In 2020, Wiz Khalifa, a Grammy-nominated recording artist from Pittsburgh, teamed up with Nextbite to launch HotBox by Wiz, a delivery-only service of foods featuring a “munchie menu.”

Fieri’s brand is in 26 states, with new sites opening weekly. Pennsylvania now has 13 Flavortown Kitchen locations.
