Just one of the treats that Pittsburgher's can now have delivered by DoorDash.

Got plans to propose to your sweetheart this Thursday? The people who believe that fries belong inside a sandwich instead of alongside it have an offer for you:

If you get engaged at any Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar this year on Valentine’s Day, you will receive what they describe as “an exclusive, all-expense-paid ceremony complete with Primanti Bros.’ Almost Famous sandwiches at the company’s original restaurant in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District this summer.”

Assuming your partner says “yes” to your proposal, just let the restaurant’s general manager know and you’ll get information about the free summer wedding ceremony.

Here’s what we do know about the inaugural Love at First Bite event: The offer gets you a “group wedding ceremony” officiated by the company’s brand ambassador Toni Haggerty.

“Sometimes folks — mainly guys — don’t need the added pressure of an expensive restaurant when they are trying to pop the question,” Haggerty explains. “Here, they can have fun, a great meal and a free, catered wedding ceremony to boot. It’s a no-brainer.”

The group wedding, Primanti Bros. says, “will include a catered reception and other special surprises.”

We’re really hoping that involves Pittsburgh Dad Curt Wooten wearing a Steelers-themed tuxedo.
