March 22
10 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Two leading forces shaping Pittsburgh’s contemporary music scene, global dance party Pandemic and the VIA music and new media festival, are teaming up to bring Colombian singer, producer and DJ Isa GT to town for an evening of immersive sounds, sights and dancing at Brillobox. A fixture on East London’s electronic music scene, Isa GT founded Etoro Records in 2011, and has collaborated with Toy Selectah, Joao Brasil, Dutch Rhythm Combo and In Flagranti. In 2012, she released a five-track EP, along with six additional releases of original music and remixes by three Latin American artists. Host of a monthly radio show called Musicalia on Pulse Radio, Isa also performs live sets and DJs around the world and has toured with M.I.A. Isa’s blend of diverse musical elements, such as cumbia, house, champeta and kuduro which draw from South American and African traditions, will make for a terrific pairing with local DJ Pandemic Pete, who hosts one of Pittsbrgh’s most popular contemporary works music dance nights. The event will also feature original visuals by VIA and special guest Sarah Vicious.
