Millvale Community Library

April 10
5 – 7 p.m.

Looking to meet local makers and DIY movement practitioners? Tap into the local maker movement, connect with Pittsburgh’s leading makers and roll up your sleeves to get creative at this free public event at the newly opened Millvale Community Library
Part of an ongoing series that is held once a month at various learning spaces around the city, Maker Meet-Ups provide welcoming opportunities for adults across the city and region to share ideas and strategies, make things on-site and support the advancement of the local maker movement.

From 5 to 6 p.m., attendees will participate in activities and tours at Millvale Community Library and the Open Floor Maker Space. A roundtable discussion will follow from 6 to 7 p.m.

Organized by the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s MAKESHOP and the Kids+Creativity Network, the event is primarily for adults, but will be taking place during the regular Mobile MAKESHOP session for kids at the Millvale Community Library.
