The Mine Factory

March 29
11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

A unique showcase of Pittsburgh produced design and brand direction is debuting at one of the city’s newest art spaces. The first biannual Trade Union is bringing together some of the area’s leading independent designers and makers at The Mine Factory, which recently opened in Point Breeze. A curated trunk show, Trade Union will feature more than 12 local vendors, DJs, food and drink from Round Corner Cantina, Jeremy’s Cart, Blue Bottle Coffee and BRGR, and a free happy hour from from 4 to 6 p.m. Featured vendors include Moop, RedRaven Studios, The Ardent Forager, Mid-Atlantic Mercantile, Kicky Feet Vintage, Deadburydead, Tugboat Printshop and more. Joining forces with UpTo, the pop-up marketing project led by Shift Collaborative, Trade Union will also offer à la carte marketing and design services to attendees. Also featured will be cuts and shaves by on-site barber Ryan Graham. Look for the event to occur each spring and fall.
