If you have yet to check out one of its local art showcases, RAW Pittsburgh’s Panorama is a great chance to experience the indie art organization’s latest production.

In 2013, Pittsburgh joined a growing list of 60 international cities to produce local artist showcases as part of the independent arts organization, RAW. Each RAW installment features creative talent working in the visual arts, film, fashion, music, hair and makeup artistry, photography, performing art and modeling.

Panorama, RAW Pittsburgh’s third artist showcase of 2014, is set for  June 26th, at the Strip District-based venue, Club Zoo, from 7 p.m. to midnight. The varied lineup features more than 40 multimedia artists, performers and producers.

Included in the lively presentation will be 33 visual artists, photographers and accessories artists, fashion shows by Bill Earl Coutore, Boots Printing Co. and Layla Lawless, and hair artistry by Nikki Napalm. Providing the night’s live music will be Gene Stovall, John Steez and Crystal Lee Morgan. RAW Panorama will also feature performances by comedian Davon Magwood and the Pittsburgh Samba Group. Club Zoo’s interiors will be completely transformed into an arts showcase and will also include bars throughout the venue.

RAW’s inaugural showcase of 2014 attracted 900 people, showcased 40 local artists and sold more than $15,000 in artwork. Since its inception in February 2013, RAW: Pittsburgh has showcased 300-plus local artists in visual art, film, fashion, music, hair and makeup artistry, photography and performing art.
