The panoramic view of Pittsburgh from Mt. Washington is considered one of the best skyline views in the world, reports USA Today in its latest top 10 list of America’s Most Stunning Views.

“The panoramic view of central Pittsburgh from atop Mt. Washington has long been considered one of the best skyline views in the world. The “mushroom” overlook platforms sit at an elevation of 400 feet, accessed by a historic funicular dating from 1877. From here, one can absorb how Pittsburgh is embraced by three rivers and the striking iron bridges that cross them. You can also add a meal to the view along the site’s “Restaurant Row.”

Other stunning views include Sedona, Arizona;  Kauai, Hawaii; Denali National Park in Alaska, the view of New York from Brooklyn, Lake Superior, Michigan, Washington D.C. from the Lincoln Memorial steps, Arches National Park, Utah; Grand Canyon and Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Wyoming.
