Pittsburgh continues to be a darling of the national travel news. A new Associated Press article, published in Sun City, Arizona’s Your West Valley media outlet, highlights Pittsburgh’s 21st-century amenities and attractions, such as the city’s beautiful Downtown river walk, multicultural neighborhoods and restaurants, and even the no-charge zones of certain T and bus rides.

In his article, Pittsburgh forges new image with roots in steel industry, writer Kevin Begos recommends Point State Park and The Fort Pitt Blockhouse, Downtown’s Cultural District, landmark architecture and walking tours, the many tasty fruit, meat and fish wholesalers that line the Strip District, the iconic views from Mount Washington and The Frick Art and Historical Center in Point Breeze.
