In MSN Money‘s new slide show recognizing “The 15 Hottest American Cities for 2015,” Pittsburgh makes the list, along with Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Nashville, Houston and nine other US locations.
MSN Money cites Pittsburgh’s stable housing market, influx of tech companies such as Google, “up-and-coming” neighborhoods, startup culture and role in the oil industry as some of the many factors contributing to the city’s current growth. Destinations such as Bakery Square and East Liberty are included, as are the city’s many “cool bars and restaurants.”
In the slide show featuring 15 US locations, Pittsburgh’s iconic view from Mount Washington—looking down onto the bright red incline, Point State Park and stunning skyline—show off the city’s visual and topographical character.
