Rowing at Prouts Neck

The newest exhibition to open at The Frick Art & Historical Center in Pittsburgh is profiled by the international arts publication, ArtDaily.

An American Odyssey: The Warner Collection of American Painting, on view at the Point Breeze-based venue through May 25th, features some of the country’s most acclaimed artists, such as Gilbert Stuart, Winslow Homer and Thomas Cole, while also highlighting influential art movements like the American Impressionists and Hudson River School. Among the most significant collections of American art, The Warner Collection was assembled by the American businessman and philanthropist Jonathan “Jack” Warner, who is former CEO of Gulf States Paper Corporation and founder of the Tuscaloosa Museum of Art.
