The $13.7 million, 26,000-square-foot rehabilitation by GBBN Architects is now fully inhabited by OneValley, an incubator and support system for growing startups.
The idea is to bring back an entire section of Hazelwood that once existed for housing, when the steel mills were active and this was a vibrant industrial neighborhood.
GBBN says the ultimate use of the Roundhouse at 4165 Blair St. is undetermined but its team wants to restore it as a way to connect the past to the present.
