NEXT Up features one person’s plans for the coming week. Nina Marie Barbuto, founder of Assemble, a community space for arts + technology on Penn Avenue, shares her packed itinerary for the week of March 17. Splitting her time between running Assemble and working as a program coordinator with the Girls Math & Science Partnership at the Carnegie Science Center, Nina can be found all around town this week.

Monday: interviewing interns for Assemble’s summer program.

Tuesday: nonprofit dinner party at Union Project catered by Conflict Kitchen.

Thursday: STEM Stars program meeting at the Homewood-Bruston YWCA; Pittsburgh premiere of CLOUDS, the world’s first 3D, interactive, documentary film at Carnegie Mellon.

Friday: Youth Maker Night at Assemble; Pittsburgh Batman at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater. Says Nina: “I am so pumped for Pittsburgh Batman!”

Saturday: running the event, “Tour Your Future: Pittsburgh Super Computing,” for the Girls, Math & Science Partnership at the Carnegie Science Center.

Sunday: brunch at Zenith or E2; making art with Darrell Kinsel.
