NEXT Up features one person’s plans for the coming week. Bobby Zappala is the co-founder and CEO of Thrill Mill, Inc., Pittsburgh’s newest startup accelerator. With more than a dozen startups under his roof, every week tends to be unpredictable. Here are his plans for the week of March 31st.

Tuesday: Heading to Uptown to meet with Dale McNutt to discuss the state of coworking/incubation in Pittsburgh; back to Thrill Mill for a night of Mentor Matching.
Wednesday: Co-hosting an event with AlphaLab Gear, Repair the World and Higher Achievement, to bring disadvantaged middle schoolers to our programs to meet the startups and learn about entrepreneurship.
Thursday: Babs Carryer comes to teach entrepreneurship to our startups. On Thursday night, I am getting together for drinks at The Livermore with John Stivoric of BodyMedia fame and one of our teams from our first class.
Friday: Joining CMU on a “startup tour” of the East Liberty area.
Sunday: Taking my mother out for a belated birthday celebration, probably for brunch at Square Cafe in Regent Square.
