Kate Romane

When Chef Kate Romane is not helming the kitchen at Highland Park’s E2 or staging one of her out of this world in situ dinners at Pittsburgh’s landmarks, she’s noshing at this neighborhood spot.

The best meal I had last week is easily the Shoyu Ramen from Teppanyaki Kyoto. I’ve had ramen from many places in the city and it’s the best one we have right now. It’s so good.

Teppanyaki Kyoto seriously my favorite place to go—its been hard for me to get there but ever since they opened for lunch we’ve been ordering lunch there a lot. Even the bakery (Food Glorious Food) orders from them. It’s fast, delicious and authentic.
