Martorano’s Prime at Rivers Casino, 777 Casino Dr., North Shore
Celebrity cook Steve Martorano’s steakhouse will open for its first dinner service Jan. 8 and will operate Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Reservations are available via Open Table or by calling 412-566-4799. Martorano’s Prime features elevated Italian-American cuisine, prime cuts of beef and other high-end steakhouse staples.
Cadence Clubhouse, 9999 Kummer Rd., Allison Park
The café inside North Park’s Pro Bike + Run features a full-service bar and 20 taps pouring local beers and ciders. Verona-based Mechanic Coffee supplies the caffeine, along with the café’s own Cadence Blend. There are also smoothies and fresh-squeezed juices and a mini-market filled with to-go food and beverages as well as gourmet ingredients for your pantry. The company’s Strip District location is slated to open this summer or fall, along with a Monroeville restaurant.
Old Thunder Brewing, 340 Freeport Rd., Blawnox
You can’t sip a beer inside the post office-turned-brewery just yet, but you can order cans online and grab ‘em to go during Old Thunder’s weekly pick-up hours.

Truss Brewing Company, 42 Old Clairton Road, Pleasant Hills
The take-out only nano-brewery opened in December. Grab a growler of beer and a wood-fired Neapolitan pizza to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Brick oven-cooked pizzas, burgers and apps, not to mention a stellar selection of bourbons, are on the menu at this historic landmark.

Like OTB locations in South Side and North Park, the Hastings site features bicycle-themed décor and eats. There’s plenty of parking for your two-wheeler and nearby parks and trails that will help you burn off your meal.
